Fiona's 18th @ Nihon Mura

Happy 18th Birthday Fiona

I met Wanlin at 1pm at Jurong Point to get a cake and decorate it at The Icing Room. It was horrendous :( Suck at decorating cakes! I was thinking it's so stereotype to just write "Happy Birthday Fiona" on it, so I drew an ugly stickgirl. After that, we went Mini Toons to buy gummies and put it on her cake. Once we're done, it's near 2pm, which also means it's time for us to make our way to Boon Lay platform and meet the birthday girl! It's sad that she's going through so much shit on her birthday. Hope she's really fine. So we took the train to Jurong East to meet Darren & Noel. Then 5 of us continue heading to City Square Mall, which is located at Farrer Park. The journey seems fast maybe because we're chatting happily. We went to check out Ishi Mura first and there was some confusion about the buffet.. After clarifications, we reserved a table of 10 pax. We had nowhere to go while waiting for the rest and 5.30pm for the buffet to start. Noel wanted his Mc Cafe so we went Mac. I told them the buffet would cost $31.90 after adding all the charges and they said it's too ex. So I suggested Nihon Mura, at The Cathay. We went up to cancel the reservation and made our way to The Cathay! We sat outside Nihon Mura and met the others there (: At 6pm, we queued up and went in! All of them were so so so hungry for Sashimi! Ordered 6 servings of salmon sashimi, each serving has 6 slices! We ordered a lot for the first round but they did not serve us everything. Even if the item's not available, they did not make the effort to inform us. For 2nd round, we ordered 4 servings of salmon sashimi again and some of the other food we din't get enough of. Each person paid S$27 and I think it's quite worthy! (: After buffet, we had no plans and Darren randomly asked if we want to go Rochor for the famous beancurd! We just walked there and take-away beancurd, then went La Salle to have it (: The sweetness is just nice. To me, it's nicer, compared to those outside! After beancurd, we took train home (: Wanlin & I alighted at clementi and transfer to bus 99! We're afraid it's the last bus so we ran after then realised the last bus is at 12am and not 11:45pm. Reached home at about 12am+! (:
