Vietnam. 4th June

I'm finally back in Singapore. Went to Vietnam for a school trip, 4th June to 9th June - 6 days 5 nights.
I'd say I've learnt a lot of things; the trip was fun despite the hot weather; non-stop perspiring and everyday returning back to hotel late because of debrief/night shopping/going to others' room to play.

Anyway, it was my first time taking a plane, away from Singapore without my family, perspire so much (the whole day!) and, crossing roads with hundreds of motorcycles (People who went Ho Chi Minh city before would understand how it's like. FYI, HCM city has 3.5million motorcycles.)

I do feel excited going to Vietnam and taking a plane because seriously, the furthest country I've went is Malaysia. The feeling wasn't that bad! I enjoyed looking down from the plane's mirror.

Well, for the first day, I woke up at 5.40am to shower and prepare to leave for changi airport. Before heading to changi airport, uncle brought me to clementi mrt station to meet Wanlin & Janelle. After meeting the girls, we headed to Changi. I think we reached kinda early (before 7.30am) but there were people earlier than us. I forgot at what time, we finally checked in. We had about an hour (I guess) to shop inside and I bought Sis a Pooh Smarties. It's really cute and kinda worthy as it's quite a big bottle. So after shopping, we went to the gate and finally got on the plane. I had omelette with sausage & harshbrown, fruits, a small slice of coffee cake and a cup of apple juice. While eating, I watched a movie but I forgotten the title. Something Paris and love. So about odd 11am, we reached Ho Chi Minh city. When we're at the vietnam's custom, the guy said the passport photo don't look like me. At that moment, I really felt like scolding him because how can it not look like me?! I even put up my fringe but he just insisted that it doesn't look like me. Then he asked how many people in my group, I asked Ms Goh to answer him and he chopped the white card for me. Hate him ttm :( after clearing custom, went downstairs to collect luggage, met the tour guide and took the bus to some restaurant for lunch. A very horrible lunch, nothing there is nice! Vietnam serves iced tea as a "default" drink and they taste very diluted. After the not-so-nice-lunch, we wet to Reunification Palace. After R.P., we went to check into Tan Hai Long hotel. Unpacked a little of my things and met the rest at lobby for Water Puppet show. We were late because 2 guys came down late. Anyway, the water puppets are super duper cute! After watching the water puppet show, we went back hotel for dinner then debrief and reflection, lastly, back to hotel for sleep!
